Genex praises its dedicated team during National Customer Service Week

Leisure centre operators, universities, commercial property owners, housebuilders and hospitals are full of praise for the water and energy efficiency compliance projects carried out by us here at Genex.

And what better time to celebrate the dedication and expertise of every member of our team than National Customer Service Week.

Our risk assessment and remedial engineers are among those singled out for praise, alongside our senior environmental consultant Wayne Maw and technical account manager Mohammad Iqbal.

And we want to heap praise on our wonderful customer service team who, like ducks, are often paddling away under the surface to co-ordinate the numerous elements involved in carrying out a successful project, while remaining outwardly calm!

With decades of experience between them our team consists of ESOS, BREAM, EPC, HQM and SECR assessors, CIBSE low carbon consultants and water hygiene engineers.

Genex MD Carl Cressey says: “It’s thanks to the hard work and dedication of our team and our high levels of service and meticulous monitoring processes that we are seeing increasing interest in our various energy efficiency and water compliance services.”

A leading nationwide leisure centre facilities management operator is just one example of a client who finds our professional and integrated approach makes their lives smoother.

The organisation enjoys effortless management of the 100-plus facilities it runs across the UK, saying: “We are fully informed and compliant on all water hygiene tasks across our business. The communication from the outset has been excellent and Genex’ professional and diligent approach has been exemplary. This, coupled with an intuitive and user-friendly portal has made the whole experience as smooth as possible.”

Genex, along with all Obsequio group companies, also has a strong ethos of giving back to the local community.

This has included making an in-depth energy audit of a local hospice which identified potential annual savings of more than £26,000. The suggested £64,000 improvement programme will pay for itself within 2.42 years and our report enabled the hospice to secure a £50,000 grant from an external funder to pay for the bulk of the work.

Saint Michael’s Hospice chief executive Tony Collins said: “Thank you to the Genex team for their fantastic support and for donating their time to identify these measures.”
